Busking my way through Seattle to stop child sex trafficking

About

You can help save a child from slavery

We may tell ourselves that if we had lived in the 1800s, we would have been abolitionists.  But in 2017, more people are in slavery worldwide than ever before in history.  Many of them are children in developing countries, who are repeatedly sold to visiting Europeans and Americans, from infancy to adulthood.

O.U.R. paves the way for permanent eradication of child sex trafficking through coordinated rescue and recovery planning.  In the past three years of existence, O.U.R. has rescued 641 victims and assisted in the arrests of more than 275 traffickers around the world.  In 2016, rescues were made in India, Thailand, Columbia, Haiti, and here at home in Washington State.

O.U.R. gathers the world's experts in extraction operations and in anti-child trafficking efforts to bring an end to child slavery.  O.U.R.'s team of former CIA, Navy SEALs, and Special Ops operatives lead coordinated identification and extraction efforts, in collaboration with local authorities.  Once victims are rescued, a comprehensive process involving justice for the perpetrators and recovery and rehabilitation for the survivors begins.

My story

As a violin performance student at the University of Washington, I have the power to use my talent for good.  This spring, I will be "busking" in some of Seattle's public spaces, such as Link Light Rail stations, to raise money and awareness for O.U.R.

Music can change a life, but music alone can't save a child.  That's where you come in.  Please make a donation now.  It is our duty as free citizens to stop the abomination of child sex slavery.
